The centerpiece of this necklace is an ammonite slice, hand-knotted with septarian drops, which originated in the Cretaceous period 50 to 70 million years ago. These septarian nodules formed around the same time the dinosaurs became extinct, adding a historical touch to this remarkable accessory.
